Protection modes

There are two protection modes.

Privacy and Performance / Blocking mode

We recommend you use this mode for always on, everyday use. This mode blocks invisible trackers and malicious threats, and improves performance. If the lock and spedometer icon screen is green, your entire device is protected including your activity on all apps and browsers.

Full VPN mode

This mode routes and encrypts all your traffic. We recommend using this mode if:

1. You’re on public, or insecure Wi-Fi
2. To mask your IP address, or server location
3. You want to encrypt all your connections

Please note: this mode is very private and secure, but may slow down your Internet speeds. For always on, everyday use and better performance we recommend using the default mode. Tap the < or swipe right to switch modes.
